Brighde Eire (Anne-Marie)
Bríghde Éire is an initiated witch and priestess, a visual artist, illustrator, singer, musician and educator. She describes herself as a spiritual seeker whose exploration into witchcraft began as a wild teenager in the 1970’s. Her training in the ‘Craft’ coincided over 20 years ago with her journey into recovery and the twelve steps. Since 1996, Bríghde has developed and taught magical and spiritual skills and creative expression in ritual and ritual design through the visual arts, music and voice and movement in the U.S. and U.K. and at 7 witchcamps in the U.K. and Germany. Brighde Eire (Anne-Marie) and Georgia Midnight Crow designed and teach a nearly three year training course divided into two cycles in the Reclaiming Feri Tradition to students throughout the UK. Extensive work in Feri and with Deborah Oak, founder of the evolving Reclaiming Feri theology, and commitment to long term training has lead her to teach in this way.
Her passions include the love of our wild green earth, the art of devotion, 12 steps, resting in mystery and the wisdom of not knowing. She believes in passing on practical skills, the spiritual principle of surrender and the ecstasy and experiential wisdom that emerges from within. Bríghde (Anne-Marie) is an initiate in the Anderson Feri tradition, and the Reclaiming Tradition. She has received other initiations in other ‘Craft’ traditions and acknowledges that what she teaches and practices is a reflection of all her training and experience. She lives in the beautiful Chiltern Hills of Great Britain with her family, a gold fish and two contented cats.
